The Jerome McCristal Culp Jr. Collection on Race, Gender and Sexuality in the Law and Life is named for Professor Jerome Culp. Professor Culp was a member of the Duke Law School faculty from 1985 until his death in 2004. Renowned for his scholarship and teaching on race and the law, Professor Culp's personal library forms the core of this collection.
The Culp Collection consists of more than 3,000 titles and continues to grow. Selected award-winning diversity books are added to the collection annually.
