Seattle Public Library has many useful business-related databases. You must have a Seattle Public Library card to access the databases remotely. This collection includes:

(1) Business Insights: provides information about companies and industries including financial data, industry rankings, statistics, and magazine articles; and

(2) Demographics Now: provides statistical information for business research, new businesses, marketing and sales. Locate businesses, analyze markets, target customers, and more.

NAICS Codes

The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is the standard used by Federal statistical agencies in classifying business establishments for the purpose of collecting, analyzing, and publishing statistical data related to the U.S. business economy.
