Law Library access will be Monday through Sunday 7 am to 10 pm and will be limited to law students, faculty and staff via Sullivan Hall keycard according to guidelines set forth by the University. Law student access will be primarily for quiet study and reliable internet access.
Library Services: Library personnel are happy to help you remotely. See the "Need Assistance?" box above for our contact information. Although circulation staff will be in person from 8 am to 6:30 pm Monday - Saturday, to promote physical distancing please make requests via email. Contact: lawcirc@seattleu.edu and lawILL@seattleu.edu.
Limited Summit and interlibrary loan requesting: The Orbis Cascade Alliance will resume Summit courier activities, but requesting will only be available from libraries that have reopened or have staff present to fill requests. Interlibrary loan requesting is available for article requests, and books can now be requested. Please note that book loans can be delayed as we may need additional time to locate libraries that own the material. Please reach out to lawILL@seattleu.edu if you have any questions.
Requesting materials: Please request materials through the hold function on the catalog or via email: lawcirc@seattleu.edu. Circulation staff will pull and check out materials, while wearing gloves, and place on a hold shelf located outside the library entrance on the 2nd floor of Sullivan Hall. You will be notified when material is ready for pickup.
Returning materials: Law Library materials can be returned to the book return bin at the circulation desk or the cart outside the 2nd floor library entrance. The Lemieux Library west entrance outdoor book return is also open and accepting returns. If you are unable to return materials, please contact circulation: lawcirc@seattleu.edu. Fines are currently waived and due dates may be extended. All materials returned will be quarantined for 2 days.
