Introduction

Researching careers can be an important first step toward choosing a field. The law library offers this guide to help you research different legal careers. We have some excellent resources availble, whether you're a law student, you have just passed the bar, or you are an attorney looking to move from one field to another. This guide includes books on legal careers available through the library and some excellent links to outside information on law careers. Additionally there are links to information on alternative careers non- legal careers available to those with JDs.
